longer days and shorter thoughts
I feel like I have been neglecting my blog and my whole 37 followers for these last couple of weeks. I am still convinced that my mom, Hayley, and Sarai are the only people in this world who even really read my blog. Cdfunk once tell me that my blog will never be "blogfamous" and to this day that does not really affect what I do with my own blog. In a world of chaos and random tangents, I have found my blog to be a place of refuge and reflection from/on the storm of thoughts that race through my head.
The last little while, my world has been filled with:
finalspackingcleaningfindingaplacetoallhomeforthesummermoreleaningeatingattendinggraduationsanddancepartiescleaningmoremovingunpackingsocializationingstudyingtrainingworkingnewjobandscrewinguponjobmeetinghandsomepeoplewithbeardscarproblemstiketsmakingofmoneyandphonecallshome.
the usual.
there have been so many new occurrences and new people that I can't help but miss the old. These last few weeks have moved so quickly that I barely have time to stop and think about people anymore. So many wonderful things are happening. Mission calls, baby bornings, weddings, graduations, big moves, new jobs, and even more grown up things. It makes me feel more in the mood for the next big thing for me. I feel like my next big thing is me holding on to a job longer than 2 months while going to school. I welcome this crazy adventure with open arms.
Also, I think cdfunk is working on finding me a boyfriend as well. We will see how that goes.

Buckle up
I have never been a big believer in seat belts. I guess I never saw myself getting in a car accident. I honestly wear a belt 10% of the time that I drive. I do try to buckle up for the big freeway drive. Yesterday I was so glad that I buckled up for safety. Anyone who knows me knows that I have never been much of a driver. I hate driving. I am bad at it and I don't like doing things i don't enjoy. That might sound slightly hedonistic but those are the facts. After yesterday's bumper bash, I never want to drive again. Although I had a terrible morning, I was glad to catch The Arcade Fire show last night. Though the pushing of the crowd up front didn't really soothe my whiplash, I still had a great night. The kind of night that gives me more reason to buckle up while I drive.

NEW job
I am newly employed at AMP Security for the summer......no I will not be peddling security systems like a tool but I will be a behind the scenes assisting the sales of tools by performing my duty as a credit checker/data entry agent. OH boy. Today, I just waltzed into a training session. There was no interview to attend, resume to complete, or application to fill out. I was in. Also, I was approached by my friend ( the one who should have interviewed me) and was told I was the only one in my training group without a criminal record. Oh the wonderful working world of an undergrad.

early bird catches the worm, late bird loses the friend
It has been a long time since my last post and I am afraid this isn't much of a happy note. I had one of those days again. One of those days where I wish that I could be wired differently. Sometimes I wish I could be more organized, on tops of things, and well just able to complete my daily goals. I had a post awhile ago about my daily 5. I still do them and I had a big five-filled goal day today.
1) Go to in-service work meeting with other facilitators.
2) Help out a friend and be a model for his costume make-up class
3) Win the BYU's Spelling Bee.
4) Attend meeting for friend's new club "Friends of Palestine"
5) Take my big history midterm at 8
I was able to only do one of those 5. I took the test and I feel really good about it but the day did not start off the way I wanted. I woke up late and missed work meeting and coincidentally woke up at the exact minute I was suppose to meet my friend Adam. 13 minutes late I run to the HFAC hoping he is still there but he told me I was too late. I really disappointed him. Well, after that I felt really done and I threw myself into studying. I had to miss meeting and spelling bee....all things that I wish would have been on a different night.
My biggest regret...letting down a really good friend. I can't stand feeling like I am undependable.
